Above all else . Common sense and courtesy to others please. You don't have to have one but it may be advisable - particularly at weekends, Festivals and the summer months. We welcome well behaved sensible children in the care of responsible and safety conscious parents but .. .please don't forget that we are a boat in the middle of a river so regrettably, no buggies, no prams, no toddlers, no tantrums, and sorry no children after sunset. We welcome quiet dogs with 'social skills' In most other respects very similar to our policy regarding children really. No smoking on the Lower Deck or in the Main Restaurant - otherwise OK but with courtesy to others please. We're really sorry but we cannot accommodate wheelchairs. In all other aspects, we are here to assist in any way that we can. Please contact us in advance if in doubt. We have limited space alongside for visiting diners and overnight guests. Please mention your requirements when making your reservation. None ! Very occasionally, we are pressured into tuning the radio in for a special event We keep Playing Cards, Cribbage Boards, Chess and Backgammon sets on board. And even a special set of 'Mr Bun the Baker' for those special after-dinner moments. We will always endeavour to accommodate special requests regarding those who need to comply to special diets for medical reasons. However, we are reluctant to bow to the pressure of 'fashion fads'. If you are on a weight loss diet (who isn't ?) why not relax and enjoy yourself . If you're feeling really guilty after dinner, may we suggest a light jog around the deck (or just tap your feet casually under the table). We bear no particular allegiance to any political party but are usually happy to support you if you feel the need to wax lyrical or rant and rave on the subject of your own particular political beef. |
